PC Connectivity

 

This image shows the PC setup that I am going to be connecting up. It shows all the input devices that I will also be connecting.

 

This image shows the internal components that I will be installing on the motherboard of the PC system. You can see two RAM cards and a graphics card that I will be installing.

 

RAM Card Installation

 

This image shows me installing the first RAM card into the RAM card slot on the motherboard.

 

 

 

This image shows me installing the second RAM card into the RAM card slot on the motherboard.

 

 

Graphics Card Installation

 

This image shows that I am installing the Nvidia Graphics Card into the PCI-Express graphics card slot on the motherboard.

 

PC Tower Cover

 

This image shows me fixing back the PC tower cover after I installed all the internal components.

 

 

Keyboard Connection

 

This image shows me connecting the Keyboard to the keyboard port on the PC tower.

 

 

Mouse Connection

 

This image shows me connecting the Mouse to the mouse port located on the PC tower.

 

 

VGA Cable Connection

 

This image shows me connecting one end of the VGA Cable into the VGA connector on the PC tower system.

 

 

This image shows me connecting the other end of the VGA Cable to the VGA port on the monitor.

 

 

Monitor Power Cable

 

This image shows me connecting the Power Cable to the Monitor via the AC In socket located on the monitor.

 

PC Tower Power Cable

 

This image shows me connecting the Power Cable to the PC tower by the use of the cable input socket on the tower.

 

Ethernet Cable Connection

 

This image shows me connecting one end of the Ethernet Cable into the Ethernet Port on the PC tower system.

 

 

This image shows me connecting the other end of the Ethernet Cable to my wireless modem router via the first Ethernet Port.

 

 

This image shows that I have connected the Broadband modem adapter to the phone adapter.

 

 

This image shows that I have now connected the Broadband and phone adapters to the phone line socket on the wall.

 

 

This image shows me connecting the modem cable to the wireless router. I am connecting one end of the cable to the port on the router.

 

This image shows the final step in setting up the Ethernet connection for the Internet. I am now connecting the other end of the modem cable into the modem port on the Broadband adapter.

 

Monitor and PC Tower Plug Connection

This image shows the final stage of connecting the PC system. I have now connected the plugs for both the monitor and the PC tower into the plug sockets on the AC outlet and turned on both the switches.

PC Setup Complete

This image now shows the connectivity of the PC system is now complete. All necessary components, devices and cables have been completed and the PC is ready to be operated.

PlayStation 3 (PS3) Connectivity

 

This shows the console setup of the PS3 console that I will be connecting. It shows all the necessary cables and also shows the game called Heavenly Sword.

 

 

 

AV Cable Connection

 

This image shows me connecting the AV Cable for the PS3 console system. It shows me connecting the end of the AV Cable which can be described as a mini scart connector into the connection slot on the console.

 

 

 

This image shows me connecting the coloured input ends of the AV Cable into their corresponding inputs on the built in TV Card on my PC system.

 

Ethernet Cable Connection

 

This image shows me connecting one end of the Ethernet Cable into the Ether Port on the PS3 console system.

 

 

This image shows me connecting the other end of the Ethernet Cable into the Ethernet phone socket on the wall.

 

Power Cable Connection

 

 

This image shows me connecting the Power Cable to the PS3 console. It shows me connecting the end of the power cable via the power cable input slot located on the console.

 

 

Plug Connection

 

This image now shows me plugging in the power cable into the plug socket on the AC outlet. It also shows I have turned on the switch.

 

PS3 Power On

This image shows that I have now turned on the power for the PS3 console after all the necessary connections were made. You can see the power is now on which is indicated by the green light.

Xbox 360 Connectivity

 

This shows my console setup that I will be connecting. It shows all the necessary cables and also shows the game Blue Dragon.

 

Hard Drive Connection

 

This image shows that I have now connected the Hard Drive for the Xbox 360 games console.

 

 

AV Cable Connection

 

This image shows that I am connecting the Scart end of the AV Cable to the Xbox 360 console.

 

 

This image shows that I am now connecting the coloured input connections of the AV Cable to their corresponding inputs on the built in TV card on the PC system.

 

Xbox 360 Controller Connection

 

This image shows that I am connecting the Xbox 360 controller to the games console system via the use of the USB port for the controller.

 

Power Adapter and Power Cable Connection

 

This image shows that I am connecting the Power Adapter Box to the Xbox 360 console by the use of the adapter input slot on the console.

 

 

This image shows I am connecting the Power Cable to the Power Adapter Box by using the slot on the power adapter.

 

Plug Connection

 

This image shows I have connected the Plug of the power cable to the plug socket on the AC outlet and I have also turned on the power switch.

 

Xbox 360 Power On

Now as you can see in this image the Xbox 360 console has been turned on after all the connections have been made. The power is indicated by the green circular light.
